How to use an eyeliner
Eyeliners are magic-workers for intensifying an eye makeup look. There are many different ways you can use your eyeliner, depending on the impression you want to give. You could use our liquid eyeliner Infinity ink to do a classic winged liner or to draw shapes of your preference. Another option is to use our Crayons as an eyeshadow by drawing your eyelid and blending the lines out with your finger or a brush. The possibilies are endless and as usual, we recommend playing around with the products to find your own preferences.
What type of eyeliner should I choose?
Looking for a sharp, liquid liner? Then you should opt for Infinity ink. It has a precise brush tip and offers even color release, provides optimal control and easy application. Another thing to love about Infinity ink is that it's ophtalmologically tested – and vegan, of course.
Looking for a versatile, multi-use eyeliner? Then Crayon is the one for you. It has a smooth, creamy, and easy-gliding texture that turns smudgeproof within a few seconds. They're also the perfect multi-use product that can be used as lipliner, blush or for temporary body art.
Linda's best tips for a winged liner
A question we get asked a lot is how to draw the perfect winged eyeliner. Linda Hallberg, our founder and professional makeup artist, has offered us her best tips:
- Practice every night before you remove your makeup. There are no stakes and the perfect time to practice is when there's nothing to lose. If you do this every night, you will soon notice improvements to your technique.
- If you're completely new to wearing an eyeliner, start by choosing Angled brush - 333 or Liner brush - 300 and spray it with On set long-lasting setting spray. Then choose a light-shaded cake-liner from our makeup palettes and draw the outlines of your eyeliner. By doing this, it's easy to correct the outline if it doesn't turn out the way you wanted. When you're happy with the outline, you can draw it in with your liquid eyeliner.
