7 days, 7 colors – and endless ways to wear them
Color Week isn't just about color.
It's about expression, creativity, and seeing how one shade can turn into completely different looks. That is why we love doing color week, this isn't our first time around.
Here is what happens when you give Team LH one color at a time – and no rules.
Green
From soft and fresh to a more graphic look, Amanda, Jenny and Linda delivered.
Here's what they used:
- Bright green lip lined with a shade from the 1993 palette, topped with Infinity glass.
- Boring nude palette as a base, lined with Crayon - Gemma.
- Neutral base with Boring nude palette, topped off with Sparkl - Wicked.
- Same pretty eyes as #2
Yellow
Bright, unexpected, and impossible to ignore. Vendela, Odette and Linda made yellow look effortless. Why not recreate?
- Use 1993 palette for the inner corner, and the golden shade from Basic elements on the lid. Finish off with a brown wing. Same as #4
- Make your inner corner pop with the yellow from 1993 palette, and apply Artistick – Canvas on your cheeks.
- Use the Creator palette for your eyeshadow and do an eyeliner wing with the cake-eyeliner from Boring nude palette.
Purple
Playful as it is, purple did what purple does best – and so did our team. Their amazing looks were made with some of our most colorful palettes.
- Lined with Crayon – White, and a shade from 1993 palette for a nice contrast.
- Made with Boring nude palette, 1993 palette, Artistick in Swirl and Muse on the cheeks, and our Bestie lash.
- Vendela used 1993 palette, Velvet couture – Nougat and Gloil on the lips
- Crayon – Greige as inliner, matched with the beautiful Blomma and Daybreak palettes on the lids.
Blue
Cool, calm, and anything but basic, we can't get over the ethereal glow that you get from looks like these.
- Here Aim higher palette, 1993 palette, and Sparkl were used on the eyes, along with Artistick – Muse on the cheeks. Same sparkling look as #4
- Linda used the Aim higher palette, Daybreak palette, and Aurora palette, Crayon in Risha and Atria, and of course finished off with some Sparkl – Blink.
- For this look: Crayon in Risha and Atria, as well as Basic elements and 1993 palette.
Red
It's a classic color for a reason, but they kept it bold and straight to the point.
- Amazing look by Linda made with Biggie – Grand, Crayon in Siren and Anger, and the Daybreak palette.
- For the lips Biggie – Grand, for the eyes Boring nude palette, Waterproof mascara, Crayon – Nut, on the face Artistick – Canvas and Subtle glow setting spray.
- Lips lined with Crayon – Siren, filled in with Anger and topped with Infinity glass.
Red avant-garde tutorial
Here Linda shows you how you can recreate her showstopping red look.
1. Brush through your eyebrows with Biggie – Grand and fill in the ends with Crayon – Siren.
2. Create a graphic wing with Biggie and use Crayon – Anger as inliner. If you're in the mood, create your own bold lashes by grabbing some paper, drawing Biggie on it, setting it with hairspray and then cutting it up before applying.
3. For your lips, outline with Crayon – Siren and fill them in with Biggie.
Finish off the look by highlighting everywhere with the lightest shade in the Daybreak palette. Have fun!
Glitter
More is more when it comes to glitter, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
- This reflective goodness was created with Aurora palette and Sparkl – Blink.
- Eye look was created with Boring nude palette and Aurora, then we have Artistick in Buff and Modern on the face as well as Biggie – Boss on the lips.
- Here we have a pretty look made with the Siren song palette.
- Aaaaall the Sparkl's
All Sparkl's in one
For the occasion, Linda got the idea to experiment and mix all the shades of Sparkl together to see what shade she would get.
We are absolutely obsessed with the result, a light cool brown with sparkles in all the colors you can think of.
Try it yourself!
Orange
Warm, bold, and a little unexpected.
Orange brought the energy – and Team LH matched it.
All of these looks were created with the Creator palette. The top 2 looks also have Sparkl – Divine, and the graphic look on the bottom is topped with our Infinity glass.
We do love a cut crease and a graphic look or two.
