Infinity Filter Light.
- Combo skin-Dehydrated-oily T-zone, somewhat textured+ starting to see some fine lines.
I've tried 100+ products similar to the Infinity powder, not exaggerating, (I started taking notes 2 keep track of them),been disappointed by them all, more or less. From Pat Mcgrath, Hourglass, Laura Mercier to Essence & Maybelline + everything in-between. Some better than others, never been wow-ed. Been thoroughly impressed by LH's products so far so I gave it one last shot before giving up on my seemingly endless quest 2 find a great powder. When I tell you I was dumbfounded...
- Mattified oily parts without looking powdery& gave a silky smooth glow. Without actually glowing.
- Blurs, in a way I've not seen a powder do, blurred fine lines+pores. I agree with the description, it's filter like. Don't get me wrong, it isn't magic, my skin didn’t magically turn perfect BUT, closer 2 perfect it's ever been.
- Smoothing. Skin that's mattified+blurred would appear smoother but I had to emphasize this as it really is that smoothing. Doesn't feel dry at all & makeup feels super "set" in the best kind of way.
- Gorgeous with all base products I've tried so far (a lot of them.) I was so confused as to what I was seeing I had to make sure it wasn't a fluke. I did this the same day I tried it. It wasn't a fluke.
-Doesn't emphasize texture, fine lines, dry patches etc at all.
- I've used this on many different skintones+types, beautiful on all.
- I use the translucent one (light) all the time on myself with or without other base products.
- Skin-like finish, no matter how many touch up's. I don't need as many touch up's when using this product but it's honestly a relief knowing that if I do need a touch up it doesn't look cakey or mask like. Layers beautifully, easy to use.
- Great with both a brush as well as a puff.
- Great on bare skin just as is, great under or over other base products(liquids, creams, powder foundation, mineral products), to set eyeshadow, lipliner/lipstick+more. Perfect as a finishing powder as well as setting powder.
- Great for mature skin-textured skin dry skin, - all skin tbh.
Couldn't recommend this enough especially if your skin isn't the smoothest etc.
Incredibly confused by some of the negative reviews, I've used soo many powders before this & have used this one in so many variations on different people & I have not once, had any issues what so ever. I've also read some reviews that states it has glitter/shimmer in it, it doesn't. At least not the ones I've bought. I'm not into the dewy glowy look on myself. I feel it enhances structure+ fine lines. I like to control where my glow is and use glowy products in a strategic way. I wouldn't like the Infinity Filter as an all over face powder if it was a glowy product. Infinity Filter leaves skin looking smoother+mattified without looking dry/flat all while leaving this healthy..filter like finish.
This beeing said, if your skin is overall non-"problematic" I would absolutely still recommend this as it's just that good but it is a bit pricey & I feel most powders would probably do the trick for you.
I'm happy to say that I finally found the perfect powder. As long as this is available I'll continue to buy it & I sincerely hope it'll be available for the foreseeable future. Honestly, I'm greatful. Thank you LH.
