The LH team in full color

Pink makeup look

This week, LH cosmetics launched our color week challenge. Each day came with a new color to include in our make up routine, as a way to inspire people to having more fun with color in their makeup. You've joined us on Instagram and shared your own looks in our Facebook-group "LH cosmetics Creators" – which we've loved. It's been such a creative and inspiring week for us all. Now we're excited to share our office looks and some tips and tricks from the LH team.

Was there a color that surprised you?

"I usually go for pink, orange, and red tones since they enhance my blue eyes. But I was completely surprised by green—wow, what a combo! It made my blue eyes pop in a way I didn’t expect. The golden duochrome effect in the green shimmer shadow really made a difference. I loved how the makeup changed depending on the light."

– Liselott, Retail training coordinator

“The green surprised me. I didn’t think I’d feel comfortable in green eyeshadow or that it would suit me, but I actually felt really good wearing it. So I’ll definitely be reaching for green more often."

“I think green and purple surprised me the most. I always thought they wouldn’t suit my blue eyes, but now I’m inspired to try them more often."

Which look was the most fun to create?

"I went all out with the pink one. Oh wow, that was a full-on ‘trust the process’ moment, but in the end, it worked out. I’d totally do color week again with even more combinations."

– Liselott, Retail training coordinator

"The glittery one. I usually go for 'Shimmer saga' when I want a sparkly look, so it was fun to try 'Basic elements' instead. It gave me total ’90s vibes with black eyeliner and silver glitter all over the lid, but I loved it."

"The glittery one. I love glitter, and it’s always so fun to apply because it instantly gives such a beautiful effect."

– Elin, Content manager

Which product was your hero this week?

"The shimmer shadows in our palettes. They create a big impact with little effort. The best way to apply them is with your fingertip for maximum effect. They work beautifully on bare lids for a soft shimmer or layered on top of other shades for extra drama. Perfect for beginners since they require minimal technique—just a few taps, and you’re good to go."

– Liselott, Retail training coordinator

"Sparkl in the shade 'Delish' — my new favorite. It’s so easy to use, and it sits beautifully on the lids. I also loved using it as a highlighter."

– Vendela, TikTok intern

"Till the end eyeshadow primer is a must-have for keeping shadows in place. I also love false lashes, so I have to mention The lash and The adhesive – they really completed my looks."

– Moa, Influencer marketing

"The green shade in the Smoke it out palette. I’ve always thought it was beautiful but never actually used it. Turns out, I loved how it looked on me, so green will definitely be a go-to shade for me from now on."

Your tip for someone who wants to try more color?

"Just go for it – dip your brush into your favorite shade and see what happens. It doesn’t have to be complicated; start with a small pop of color in your inner corner or along the lash line. Wearing a bold lip color is also a great way to add vibrancy to your everyday look. It’s an instant mood booster and often inspires others to experiment with color too."

– Liselott, Retail training coordinator

"If you’re like me and not used to wearing color, it can feel a bit intimidating. Start small: try a colored eyeliner or a more vibrant lip product. The key is to experiment – makeup should be fun and creative, and the best part is that you can wear it however you like."

– Vendela, TikTok intern

"The easiest way is to start small. Add a bit of color to your inner corner, then gradually experiment with bolder shades. It doesn’t have to be extreme or perfect. If you love eyeliner, try swapping your usual black liner for a colorful one instead."

– Moa, Influencer marketing

"I usually don’t wear a lot of color, so for me, the easiest way was to stick to my everyday makeup routine but swap out the shades for more colorful ones. That way, I felt confident in the technique and knew exactly what to do next. So that’s my tip: start small if it feels intimidating, and try adding little pops of color to your everyday look."
